Build secure and scalable AWS platforms

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help design, automate, and govern enterprise-scale AWS environments. This role is critical to designing, implementing, and managing our multi-account AWS environment using Control Tower and related AWS governance services. You will play a key role in building and maintaining our AWS Landing Zone, managing cloud governance, and enabling teams to work efficiently in a secure multi-account environment.

Working closely with Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, FinOps, and SRE teams, you will drive automation, security, and operational excellence across our cloud ecosystem.

What you’ll do

• Design and manage AWS Control Tower multi-account environments.
• Build and maintain AWS Landing Zone governance and security controls.
• Implement and manage Account Factory for Terraform (AFT).
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Design and maintain advanced AWS networking architectures.
• Automate cloud operations using Python, Bash, and AWS-native services.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure compliance, reliability, and scalability.
• Continuously improve cloud platform performance, security, and cost efficiency.

What we’re looking for

Must-have

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations.
• Experience with Account Factory for Terraform (AFT).
• Expert-level Terraform skills.
• Deep understanding of AWS Landing Zone architectures.
• Strong AWS networking expertise, including:
  • VPCs
  • Transit Gateway
  • Route 53
  • Load Balancers (ALB/NLB)
  • VPC Endpoints
  • AWS IPAM
• Experience with AWS security and governance services:
  • IAM Identity Center (SSO)
  • AWS Config
  • Security Hub
  • GuardDuty
  • Service Control Policies (SCPs)
• Scripting experience with Python or Bash.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Customizations for Control Tower (CfCT).
• AWS Systems Manager.
• GitOps, Argo CD, or Flux.
• Docker, ECS, or EKS.
• Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog.
• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications.
• Experience with Azure or multi-cloud environments.
• AI-Assisted Development.
• Experience  with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux
•  Knowledge of Crossplane for Kubernetes-based infrastructure management
•  Experience with containerization and container image management (Docker, ECS, EKS)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild)

Salary

6500–8500 EUR gross per month.
